Chinese weapons can be divided into three basic categories: Single, Double/Flexible, and Long Weapons. Examples of the single/short weapons include the broadsword, straight sword, and fan. Weapons included in the double/flexible category include the melon hammers, double broadsword, double sticks, daggers, sword & shield, and the 3, 7, and 9-section steel whips. Included in the long weapons are the staff, tiger's pole, kwando, monk's spade, spear, tiger's fork, and pu-dao.
